Currently valid information on the operation of IHM (updated to May 3, 2021)
The school building at Svídnická 506/1, 181 00 Prague 8 is open to students and the public from Monday to Friday from 7:30 to 15:00. The stay in the school building is allowed only with respirator covering nose and mouth. Persons with symptoms of covid-19 are not allowed to enter the school building. It is always necessary to observe the currently valid restrictions resulting from government or hygienic station regulations.
Teaching (in full-time and part-time study) takes place until further notice in the distance form while respecting the established schedules (lectures, seminars). Any exceptions (in connection with school practice in summer semester), always in full compliance with the currently valid extraordinary government regulation, will be communicated individually. The operation of the IHM building for employees (especially for the needs of teaching) is provided from Monday to Friday from 7:00 to 19:00.
Examinations during the examination period take place primarily in the distance form (online), in exceptional cases it is also possible to organize examinations in the school building, while these examinations can take place with the participation of a maximum of 10 people (including the examiner). The final evaluation of the examination will be entered into the IHM IS, it is not necessary to visit the school to enter the result in the index. State final examinations take place both in the distance form and in person in the school building.
Movement around the IHM building is permitted only with respiratory protection (nose, mouth), which is a respirator, including a filtration efficiency of at least 94% according to relevant standards (eg FFP2, KN 95).
Personal presence of students in the VŠH building is possible only if the student does not have symptoms of COVID-19 and if he participates in examinations, consultations or teaching (always in the number of people higher than two), so also if the student underwent a preventive test to determine presence of SARS-CoV-2 virus. More detailed information is provided in the Rector's Measure No. 14/2021.
From 10 May 2021, the participation of students in internships is allowed (applies to all years).
Ceremonial ceremonies (matriculation, graduation, inauguration) are canceled until further notice.
Academic staff are not required to be present at the workplace, that is why office hours take place exclusively online. Detailed information can be found individually for each academic staff member in the school's information system (is.vsh.cz).
The Study Department is open from Monday to Thursday from 9:00 to 11:00, by prior agreement with a specific study assistant.
The IHM Study Room is completely closed, the Library of dr. Jaroslav Holoubek operates from Monday to Wednesday from 8:00 to 11:00, the Mlsná zrzka café is open in the form of a dispensing window from Monday to Thursday from 8:00 to 13:00.
