Library and study rooms

The function of the library and study rooms is to provide information and library services in line with contemporary findings and trends regarding shared information.

The basic services provided include:

borrowing materials for use in the library
sale of professional literature
information services
computers for word processing and internet access
the use of printers (self-service, for a fee). At the beginning of each academic year students receive a credit of 200 Czech crowns for printing assignments such as theses. Additional printing is charged as follows: 1 page – one sided, 1 crown; double-sided, 1.5 crowns
the use of photocopy machines (self-service, with use of a card for a fee). Photocopying is charged as follows: 1 A4 page – 1 crown; 1 A3 page, 2 crowns

Tuesday + Thursday 8:00 a.m. – 6:30 p.m.

Printed materials and professional publications
The Institute of Hospitality Management offers not only its own literature (printed materials issued by IHM) but also over time has managed to build an extensive library which currently includes about 8000 specialized books and publications. Part of this library is a section of foreign language publications. The yearly growth to this library collection is 450-550 specialized books and publications.
