Graduates of professional colleges applying for the standard 2-3 semester bachelor’s program should have a background in economics and management from their schools. Knowledge of a foreign language at the bachelor level is required.Requirements for applicants
For bachelor students – full and part-time
Students at IHM study two languages, one of which must be English.
International students must have knowledge of the Czech (or Slovak) language on at least a B1 level (in accordance with the Common European Framework of Reference for languages).
International students generally take „Czech for Foreigners“as their second language.
Part–time students may substitute another foreign language for the mandatory English language requirement.For graduates of professional colleges entering the bachelor’s program

Acceptance for study
The decision for acceptance is based on the fulfillment of all requirements and verification of suitability by the Rector. Final decisions for acceptance are based on the order in which applications were submitted.
All applicants will receive the decision for acceptance in written form on the day of enrollment.
The decision for acceptance is conditional upon closing a contract with IHM and paying the tuition within the term stated in the decision for acceptance – usually 14 days after acceptance, otherwise, the applicant loses his place and it will be offered to another.
Applicants may request an appeal to the acceptance decision. Requests must be made to the Rector within 30 days of receiving the decision. The Rector may grant the request or confirm the original decision – within 14 days of receiving the request. Decisions by the Rector are final.
